I truly enjoyed the service here. It was the day after Christmas and, not being from the area, I wasnt sure who would be open. Glad this spot was. If you are looking for good diner food this is a good choice. The staff is friendly and you really get a feel for the local people, which is nice for me and my family when we travel.

Speedy service, clean seating and the part of the kitchen I could see. Home cooking like Grandma might serve. Nice portions without over eating and feeling bad after. If I am in town again, I'll stop here.

Great breakfast. I always get the bacon omelet with hash browns and I've never been disappointed. Haven't found a better breakfast in Texarkana. Reasonably priced also.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our breakfast dining experience at Johnny B's. This is old fashioned traditional comfort food. Everything was cooked to order, pancakes were good and the ham is actually a bone in ham steak that is worth the upgrade price. And if sweet tea is your beverage of choice, then this is the place for you.

We discovered this gem from an internet search, and we're so glad we did! I ordered the Philly omelet, and my boyfriend ordered the Christmas dinner that was on special. Mine was delicious, and just enough for me. His plate came heaped with food, and extra plates to accommodate such a huge dinner. Everything was delicious. The waitress was very friendly, and extremely helpful. She knew we were traveling, and even suggested a local attraction that we wouldn't want to miss. As a result, we ended up walking all around their historic downtown area. We're extremely satisfied with the entire experience!

Friendly excellent service! No wait time but crowded. Did not affect the service. Food excellent and cooked as ordered. Sunday morning breakfast rush but only 40 minutes from time I pulled into the parking lot till the time I left. Skip the Barrel, this is the best!

Best Belgium waffles and bacon in Txk! This is a really great family-owned place to eat. They also have an amazing dessert & pie menu if you go here for dinner.
